These are our children.
Why do we do these things?
What did they do?
It's one thing to kill a full grown person, but a child? They don't -understand- death. They don't understand that mommy can't afford me, daddy is stressed, that man over there doesn't like black people...
And neither do I.
As seen in the news, most of these people got away with very little punishment, especially the mothers and fathers.
So society is saying it's ok to kill your own children, but not so ok to kill someone else's.
These are our children.

I mean, killing someone is bad, killing a kid is worse, but your own kid??
Ok, I can understand that parents can be annoyed by their kids/teenagers, but that is NOT a reason to kill them. Also, IMHO, the punnishment for murder should be jail for the rest of your live. He/she will suffer longer and have more time to think about what he/she has done, and that will not happen when you kill the murderer itself.

The problem is it isn't going its there. In fact it has been worse in the past and and its going yo get worse before it gets better.
I don’t like reading, watching or hearing news, I hate it when I hear about any murders or deaths. I feel bad for a long time and then I’ll be sad and I cant get it out of my head.
I would like to know why those parents killed their children, did they hate having children or what?? I think that people that kills has some serious problems, and lifetime in jail is not enough.
All parents that cant handle their children is quitters. My mother has not given up on my sisters yet. I was always the gody girl, its just that I like helping out, not just for her.

Is it getting worse, or is just that with a bazillion 24/7 news outlets that everything gets reported.It's not that "everything gets reported, its that the things that get reported are the things that raise ratings.
the old phrase about no one can look away from a train wreck, is what guides these news channels. I was astounded the other day when i could turn to Fox news, and they were reporting the deaths of the Isrial citizens, due to the attack from Hezbolah. THen I could turn to CNN and watch the stoory about the deaths of the Lebonese citizens due to the attack of the Isralies.
OK , both sides are losing innocent citizens, but why do the news media insist on good guy - bad guy retoric.
like all of the above posts, about the bad parents, why dont we hear about some of the hero parents, firefighters, police, and others.
Its not like I am just a feel good guy, but how about some reality???
