Google AdSense Question

I've always wondered this, In Google AdSense, They put a series of ad on a banner. On the Clicks Per Impressions CPM, Do they pay you per Link or just as a whole?

I know Google pays a varied amount per ads, But is it 50/50 or something else as a payment system? Also do you earn more with Text, Image or Video Ads?

Click on them and see for urself.

They are all different advertisers, so they will be per single ad.

There is no solid base as to which ad pays more, text, image or video (i still have to see them in action)

Its all on the keyword. Also as far as i know its not 50-50 sharing but more in favour of publisher, and if its a big site (like aol, digg) then the sharing ratio can be as much as 80-20 in favour of the publisher

Also, Google adsense will generate revenues only when people click on the ads, not per impression as far as I understand. And without any click no revenues have been generated. Only when they click money will be generated for you.

And the best way also to select among the ad type is text and images together. So, accordingly it will be displayed. For instance, you select only images and no images are available, then they will not serve your ads in that space. So, you'd better choose both to be displayed.

No google even pays on page impressions. This is generally with image or video ads and sometimes with text based ads.
