Total nub, in need of help

Hey guys, i'm faced with a small issue here, and just hoping someone can point me into the right direction.

I currently havea site being hosted here http://atrocity.frih.net/pdm and just recently, I bought a domain name.

What i'm trying to do is (i guess) simple to most, but I just want to use this new URL instead of the sub-domain. I have no clue how to go about doing this, this is my first time dealing with a real domain, so if there is a easy step-by-step guide, that would be beautiful. Or if one of you guys wouldn't mind detailing some things for me.

First you have to change the current nameservers to:

ns1.frih.net and ns2.frih.net

When this has done you need to login to your Direct Admin, click "Domain Setup", click "Add Another Domain" and then enter the information. It will then take up to 3 days for the domain to work.

If you want http://atrocity.frih.net/pandemonium to be a different site from http://atrocity.frih.net then you'll have to use the "Site Redirection" option in your DA.

ok, so after I set the nameservers in go-daddy to the ones you gave me, and create a new domain in Direct Admin, how do i go about making it target my forum?

Or do I simply need to recreate everything under this new domain on frih.net?

also, to upload things to this new domain, would i use ftp.eq2pandemonium.us?
