I'm working on a site where the client would like to have clicked-on thumbnails open a larger version graphic in a new window. Will that raise problems with a pop-up blocker ?

I reccomend using Lightbox. It has no issues with popup blockers and loads extremely quickly. It also makes your page look current and nice.

eepman, thanks for the reply. I'm not too sure what Lightbox does that show/hide layers wouldn't also do, maybe in terms of how the page first loads? For this particular usage, Lightbox probably will not work; dimming the page behind the new image would be a design no-no. But I will earmark the page, it looks like it could be a very handy tool in other situations.
And the original question still stands, does calling up a new and seperate window automatically invoke a pop-up blocker?
