Dodge Challenger concept car

Im sure some of you have seen/heard about this before.

Its the 2007 or 2008 dodge challenger concept car, and as you can see, it follows the lines of the origonal.

Cant wait.

(the top car is the concept car, the bottom is a 1970 dodge challenger and the middle one is a few parts off the old one put on the new one)

Well, it looks to be a nice car, but does anyone else actualy like the old one better? I sure do.

Well like typical people of the Good ole US of A The new challenger has gone chunky. The original looks much leaner, and i like the old one better, but I wouldn't mind test driving one.

I am on a search for a new car. and I was looking at the chunky 06 GTO or Monaro. I heard they were going to make another GTO based on the same zeta platform that the new camaro will be based on. So i may wait to see that prototype. that or go luxury, and wait to see what the 07 Infiniti G35 coupe looks like.

i personally prefer the newer body style. it is still similar enough that it doesn't resemble it at all, but has enough difference to give it its own flair. while it may look bigger and heavier, odds are, it's lighter, and has around double the power the old one had. Theres a reason why people keep saying, technology is evolving.

I will take the 1970. My friend had one that was an absolute monster. Definitely took "muscles" to drive it.

The old one is actually lighter, as the new one is built on the LY platform, which is a slightly shortened version of the LX platform (what the new charger, magnum and 300C are built on)

Also, theres no way of telling which is more powerful as the engines on the new version have not been confirmed (atleast to my knowledge) but if its anything like the new mustang, most will have V6s.

I like the old dodge chargers, I think they are great. I did mean chargers, not challengers. The newer challengers look better IMO.

The old one is much nicer! But I would not say no if someone gave me the new charger... =)
