Hi all, I just wanted to share some pictures with you, if you love planes!

The following pictures were taken at the Aerial International Show here, in Québec City, on June 9-10th. Enjoy them !

The famous american Blue Angels:



















Our canadian Snow Birds:














"Ordinary planes"... they made some pretty incredible stuff:





An Hercule! American's R-130J, one of their biggest planes (if not THE biggest). It's really impressive. It looks like huge whale flying in the sky:




Pyro show.. I was very far away, but I could feel the intense heat! I can't imagine what those close people felt! Must have been incredible:



Finally that's me, in front of my ambulance, trying to recruit people Wink

Nice pics. Just two points though:

1) Did you mean famous blue angels? Infamous typically implies a negative Wink

2) And ordinary planes? No such thing in my mind. Very Happy Even a humble J-3 cub is a miracle to me.

Yep, I know (and knew), just a bad speech habit. No offense intended. Embarassed

A friend of mine was writing a book about all the national air teams from around the world. The Snowbirds were among his favorites, with personal correspondence from many of its members, photos, etc. Sadly he passed away recently without finishing the book. Hopefully, his sons, will try to finish it.

It's really sad for your friend. I do hope his work will be finished one day.

I understand why your friend liked them so much. They're my favourites too. The other day, they flew right over my house in formation. I thought we were having a earthquake. It was unbelievable!

Great pics.
I love airshows.
Here in the uK we have the Red Devils display team. I have seen them quite a number of times and the formation flying always leaves me amazed.
Any display team which can do such amazing stunts deserves recognition.
Glad you enjoyed your day. I hope other have pics of similar stuff.
