Fishing season has started and I for one went for a merry strole down the bank of my local lake.
I had a mixed bag of Carp, Roach, Rudd, Eels, Perch and Skimmer Bream. My arm was acheing from my haulage which must have seen me drag in well over 100 fish.
What a day! The biggest was a ghost Carp of 7lb whilst the best was a Perch of 12oz. A Roach of 12oz was a good second to the Perch but I'm just bias!!!
Anyone else have a cracking opening day to the season?
