zjosie729
I downloaded Perlfect Search 3.32 and installed it just as it told me to, but when I try to open any file, it says it's unavailable.

What did I do wrong?

If you dont know perl then dont even try perl application, but if you know jusr 5% about perl then you could debug the problem its not difficult

1. Try permission of all files [ make it 755 if its not]
Try again, if problem still persist then move to next step
2. Check path to perl interpretor it should be #!/usr/bin/perl

There is a decent search engine in PHP and MYSQL is on www... why dont you use it see this http://sourceforge.net/projects/tsep
