Hi all
Does anyone have experience with installing phpBB on a local network. What advice do you have and which is the best bullitin board to go with?
I would like to look at the various options namley peer to peer network as well as the full blown NT network enviroment.

Use PHPBB itself ... it works nice.

For a local intranet i use Apache, Mysql, and PHP, in winxp in my box. Apache and Mysql provide binaries which can be installed quite easily.

Its all the same, have you got a server installed? You can't run php scripts on a PC without a server installed

Thanks for the help. I was wanting to set it up on an intranet but, wanted to see if any one had any experience with this type of installation. If it was at all possibly diffrent than a web installation. I see from the replies it is infact the same and hould not be problematic. I will give it a go and see how it goes. Once again thanks for the help.
