Using Dynamic IP to host a Web Server

I am interested to use Free Domain Names, Dynamic IP (Due to my ADSL connection), and to host a Web server behind my router.

I have tried using several free software to register my domain name linked to my Dynamic IP, but faces several problems.

Suggestions are welcome.

The best and easy solution to your propblem is use NO-IP, visit www.no-ip.info for more details.

You can also use Dynip its also nice one, but you need your own domain for it.

i agree with www.no-ip.info, you daon't have to worry about using dynamic ip.

Another alternative is DynDNS.
Been using it for years and never faced any problems.

yah! try out No- IP it rox! there will be no worries as ur ip chhanges.. no- ip will handle it for you.. and itz free!!!

You can change your nameserver to dnspark and use the dymantic ip software like dysite,Then you can use your home pc as the server your want!

I suggest in that case useing URL redirectors as domain name... Co.NR is a very good service... every time u have a new ip a simple method will allow u to change yourname.CO.NR to point to the new IP address... pretty good service...

Thank you all for the feedbacks.

I have use No-IP and the follow me client.

There is still a problem of NetWork Address Translation on my ADSL router to direct the HTTP port to my Intranet HTTP server.
