i uses text file database for my counter and i dont know whats wrong with it. but every few months, the counter get reset???

u really need to give more info about the counter you use. Now i can think more things.
U need to give the code you use for the counter and all other files.
Then we can read the script and see whats wrong

Where are you storing the page? Not in some temporary directory on the server, I hope? Because those are not supposed to last forever.
i'll check on that directory thing and yeah i will post the code as soon as i get the time, i have to go now. thanx for the replies.
