Is this supposed to be pronounced "Fry" host or "Free" host? It ahs been puzzling me ever since I joined. I'd like to know!

'fri' is free in Swedish. Propablly in some other languages aswell, but of that
I know no more.

Bondings is from Belgium
It was intended to be pronounced as "free", but most people pronounce it as "fry", I think. I don't really care how you pronounce it.
i'd have thought Fri=Free is quite obvious - by the way this post is here cuz im trying to pull an alkady

I pronounce it "fry" host. The same thing puzzles me with how it is. Is it FriHost or Frihost? Some places it says Frihost, other places it says FriHost.

Oh, that I'm aware of. Languages in the area around Netherlands often,
somehow, is similar to ours. Sorry for the OT.
I always assumed it was pronounced as "free", but since we are all typing here the pronunciation doesn't really matter much
When I tell people about Frih I do use the "free" pronunciation though, then I explain that it is not an English word...has worked so far.

Well, 'FriHost' is meant to be short for 'Free, Reliable Internet Host'. And yes, I pronounce it Free-host
