Help me to Import mysql databases from web into home pc !

My friends site, he said that he already have a mysql databases about 10 mega.

And he tried to import to him pc after he had back up from him site..

But it seem it's failed, the Apache from php triad, came message like this.. Php countered error, process more than 30 seconds,

Is there any way can i used to import mysql databases without using phpmyadmin, and faster than phpmyadmin ??

The most obvious solution would be to manually split/upload the dump in smaller parts. (you must be careful to split it right places though)

What database is that ? phpBB ?
if yes, then you can remove the <prefix>_search_wordlist table data from the dump and your dump will be cut down by almost half.
