I have an 81 camaro I am redoing.
it is mostly ok but I feel I need to do something with the suspension and tires.
any ideas what would look good for an 81 Z28 (stripes removed) for rims?
any idea what to do about the suspension?
Howdy, I too have an 81 but its a Berlinetta, not a Z. Personally I like the lowered sleek look to Camaro's, so I left the stock 6 cylinder suspension in and put in a V8 350. It now sits much lower to the ground, while the back still sits at the standard height. It really gives it that sleek look, it looks fast just sitting still lol. As for rims, it depends on the color of your car, and your style in my opinion. When I got my car for $750 it already has these really sweet gold colored rims, that I have never seen before, or can find anywhere for that matter. They were slightly rusted, worn, and corroded, but I cleaned them up and they look really nice, so I kept them.
