I don't get Javascript.

Does anyone know how to learn about javascript the easy way? any website?

Something along the lines of 'javascript for dummies' would work, but i prefer websites to books. Thanks!

A good JavaScript reference ( but not a tutorial ) from O'Reilly is available in Dreamweaver ( in version 8 sure, also maybe in older versions ). Just choose Window->Reference. Or click Shift+F1.

I always found the Netscape JavaScript guide useful. But it's more of a reference and a bit obsolete now since most people probably wouldn't worry about those Netscape 4 vs. IE 5 issues which dogged us in the past.

The only tricky bit for beginners are objects. JavaScript is pretty simple provided you know a programming language - it looks quite like java or c#. Selections and loops work in a similar way.

If you get eMule you should be able to find some good books to download. Like the books Danny Goodman has written on JavaScript and DHTML

Apologies for not recommending a for dummies book. I find those books to be, more or less, as waste of space.
