What you Need FOr having a Game server

This is what we are planning to do we want to create a gateway
so that people can connect to our server so that they can connect to many users on our network
Please tell me what are all the requirements that we need in order to do the above project

Your router has to support "Port forwarding", and you ahve to forward the correct ports. Of course the computer the server will be on has to be fast, otherwise there will be lags. The internet connection should be fast as well 10Mbits both ways, or there will be lags as well.

I would recommend renting a ghost server from an internet provider. These are very fast computers that cost around 15 dollars a month or so, and are what host most of the private servers you see. Hosting on a regular computer and especially on a wireless network is going to pull up some ferocious lag, so if you have any other options, I would recommend staying away from you're own computer.
