not so free, but flash does a good job. well you can evaluate it for a month I free of churge. and there are ways of extending your trial license.

Try the free trial for Adobe After Effects if you wanna be adventurous Razz

, though ur free trial period could end before u can make an animation (considering its kinda complicated to learn) - great program..many professionals use it

I find the web site www.webattack.com interesting for many free softwares. There are graphic editors and animation software that you can use for free - under the Freeware Tab.

Also free is Project Dogwaffle v.1.2. It's a 2d natural medium type program, like Corel Painter and there are commercial versions that cost around $100. But the free version is pretty powerful, is not time limited and it gives you a great set of drawing tools. Google Project Dogwaffle and the free version should not be to hard to find. Check it out!
