It was a cracking goal, but did anyone know that he was actually brazillian born and he was only granted Portuguese citizenship in March 2003? So he couldve been playing along side ronaldinho n all the other gr8s, but do you think he could get into the 1st team squad of Brazil? I think Deco works very hard on the field. But he lacks the finishing skills of strikers like Ronaldo, Adriano, Henry and Del Piero...and he also lacks the vision of playes like Zidane or Ronaldinho to create chances out of nothing... But he always works very hard on the field...always running around. Full of energy
Deco made the right choice about who to play for, apparently. In spite of the hype, Portugal finished higher than Brazil in the World Cup!
Deco is indeed a brilliant player but he does lack finishing skills. Yet, he can create chances out of nothing and he is hard-working. Who thought that he would even shoot on goal during that match Portugal VS Iran? He just came from nowhere and stunned the world with an extra-ordinary goal.
