I Got Suspended??

Hi admin.

I just tried to see my web page today but it seems that it doesnt exist anymore Sad I know the reason for which you might have suspended my account but atleast you could have informed me before the suspension or could have seen if the problem could have been resolved Sad It was just a small incident which could have been easily / promptly resolved. As soon as I got the warning from the original creators, I had removed all possible infringments and the entire thing in itself. I even mailed them of my actions. But an hour later of clarification, i see that my site has gone!! I had put a lot of work on that site and had put 2 weeks of effort to create what I had!! I didnt even get a backup as I didnt expect this host to go down and also felt that atleast you would have a courtesy to inform us of any mishap!!! Sad

Anyway what has been done cannot be undone!! All I pray now is that you have just suspended my account , not deleted it entirely, and would look into this matter Mad seeing there was only 1 thing wrong !! Brick wall

You agreed to the TOS, why should we let people ruin other peoples experiance?, where not a chairty and not to be abused. Dont follow the TOS then we suspend without reason, if you see your suspended you have done something against the TOS plain and simple.

I was wondering, while I'm posting here, if there is a blanket ban on all .mp3 files hosted on the server. If for example I wished to host one of my band's songs that we wrote ourselves would I still have to zip it and put a copyright blahblahblah?

Yes you would have to add a .txt with each music file.

Yes, I did terminate your account, not suspended it. (I do not like to receive angry emails from people.)

The reasons are first of all the email I got, but you obviously know that. Secondly, you were offering free phpbb hosting on both websites, which also isn't allowed on Frihost.

Highwayman, mp3's are since a week strictly forbidden due to heavy abuse. Most people don't understand that they aren't allowed to put mucis from their cd's on our server, even thinking that is completely legal.
If you really want to put the music of your band on your website, you first need to get a written permission from me(in the request forum) AND put a legal.txt file in every directory with music files explaining you own the copyright of those music files.
