awesty
i was upgrading my SMF and this came up:

Code:

Upgrading log system... Unsuccessful!
This query:

    UPDATE smf_log_boards
    SET ID_MSG = 0
    WHERE logTime >Speak to the hand

Caused the error:

    You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3

How can i fix it?
DanielXP
it has to be WHERE logtime = you can not have a >

EDIT

use a if statment

if logtime > _____
{
do this
}
else
{
Do other thing
}
awesty
no, its meant to say this:

UPDATE smf_log_boards
SET ID_MSG = 0
WHERE logTime >= ; (btw there is no sapce between the = and ; but phpBB turns it in this: Speak to the hand )

ive figured out that there needs to be a number after the >= and there isnt meant to be a ; , but i dont know what to put there or where the file is located
Crying or Very sad

Nooo... do you believe...
of course, if you put a condition, it must be correct. or then remove it.
