the design is quite simple and (forgive me) boring...
I would try a different background other than white and if the comic strips are grey so maybe add colors else where around it.

I would also pull your content up to the top margin. There is considerable whitespace between your header and the top of the page.

kill me, I love simple designs. I hate complexity since it only adds waste of time to the sites, plus, simple sites are easier to navigate.

Like the others said, this website would look good with a nice splash of color.
Just so you know, the English Version is not working. You might want to fix it. babelfish.altavista.com is a great tool to use to convert languages/webpages.
Another suggestion would be to maybe center your header better... it looks a little odd hanging off to the side.

and I'm not gonna use a web translator... they never do a real good work. I've tried them.

I like it it's simple I especially like the buttons on the left.
