That's pretty cool, and I know Linux users have been waiting a while for this one. Same way with the Mac, but we got it way before Linux this time Wink

Only Beta version is available for Linux users. They need Linux just for testing....... huh

How could they not have Linux? All you need is just at least an x86 processor box, and they have to have one of those lying around. They might just be too occupied with taking over the world right now Smile

i presume that they are just using the WineHQ libraries, just like Picasa.

That's a pretty good news. No matter how late have I reaceived this news, but I am definitely going to download Google Earth now. Previously, I tried the Windows verison of the software and liked it too much. The images provided by G Earth are of really good quality and the plethora information provided by it seems inexhausting. And the various layers are nice features in the goody software.
