Anyone here watched Firefly or Serenity? What did you think?
I personally loved the series (Though I bought the Series after I found out about Serenity) IT was very unique, it had a different kind of out look on Space, and Frontier. I mean it really put meaning to Space Cowboy, in a way haha. I loved how they integrate Chinese into it. (Everytime one was cussing) Its a very well done Series...a shame that it got Canceled by Fox :/
and Remember Fox Canceled Family Guy at One Point!
Great show and movie! Loved the characters, the writing, sets, everything. I was particularly impressed with the way the scenes shot in the vacuum of space were silent and not loaded with special effects. Pretty effective AND realistic.
I miss that show
I absolutely adore Firefly and Serenity-- I'd heard about Firefly, and wanted to see it, but hadn't yet. Then my best friend made me see Serenity with her. It was a night I'll never regret!
Browncoats of the world unite!
I absolutely loved this series and the movie. From the first show I saw I was taken. The storylines were good, the "feel" of the show was good and the interaction with the characters was awesome. Just hated that some of them are no longer with us after the movie

Yeah, bummed me out, too. But I'm telling myself that any future movies could be prequels, ya know? Something in between the movie and the show. Or at maybe flash backs? Or am I just kidding myself?
I loved both the series and teh film.
Last weekend I went to Earls court and was lucky enough to meet both Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk.
Both were amazing guys, friendly, funny, with time for everyone.
I am lucky enough now to have personalised autographed pics from both of them. Some fantastic photos too.
From what they were saying there may be a possibilty of a second film at some time, no definiteplans but a possbility.
Their annecdotes from the show were great and they seem to have enjoyed making the series and the film as much as we enjoyed watching it.
If any of you guys get the chance to meet them, take it. Well worth any effort made.
Yeah, they seem like a great and close crew, which makes me think that there will be a possibility of a sequel. I liked the storyline, and how two major world players China and the US merged into a super power - which gave me a new perspective on politics and commercialism.
What I really liked about the film was its gritty realism with the camera shakes and the characters with non of that ja-ja binks nonescense. I think the whole 'cult statis' of the film kinda made me like it.
I am yet to watch the firefly series, its only been recently released in Australia.
I've seen the movie Serenity, but not seen the Firefly series. And to be honest, I quite enjoyed Serenity - enough to make me want to go back and watch FireFly now. I think I'll have to try and borrow the DVD set and watch it in one big session on a weekend. Then I can watch Serenity again, and see how much I was missing the first time round!

I don't suppose they had an comments about Alan Tudyk being in a future flick, did they? There is at least 2 routes I can see that would work.
