Ive heard that they would make a wow movie at year 2007 or at 2008 it should be ready. is this true?

Wasn't Warcraft originally a tabletop RPG to begin with?
I think Blizzard won't let the movie be terrible. This and Halo look like they're going to be the first good game movies, in the same way Spider-Man & X-Men were the first really good comic book movies.
