Question

do you know that the Open Source community integrates more than 200 millions of developpers arround the world? (most of them are students)

do you know that people are moving, day after day, to exploit open source community products?

don't you feel relaxed when you use an open source Soft? Wink
--> concerning me, i feel very relaxed Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

so do you think that the disappearance of M$ is possible? if yes what can be the reasons ...

In my opinion, yes it is possible, because any power has an end ...

Anything is posible. I am not sure how probable or how soon, though.
But there are also other options available. Google is beta testing an alternative to M$ E*cel spreadsheets for example. And Frihost is another interesting case.
The thing is, will Google be the next M$? They are rather active.

IMHO No. I believe that most businesses will require the reliability and support that only commercial products can provide. This is the same for the typical home user. This is mainly for operating systems though. (I just remembered you were focusing on applications.)
As for their office suite, that may be a different story. If more organisations and home users realize that there are free, less bloated alternatives out there, then I don't see why there wouldn't be a large number of converts.
From what little I've heard, google's applications are going to be hosted online . This has obvious advantages, but I don't know if I'd trust Google privacy wise.
