there is a member called "Rajhank"
he has a MS Dhoni fansite.... do take tips from him....
and many ppl running good celeb fan sites here....

and as far as tips go....
i being a visitor... mainly like
1.the interaction which site provides
2. the content given in the site
3. the lookout (plz make this look elegant)
4. the message boards... and a good community
5. make sure u do live updates....

that makes a good celeb site to me....
also make a good banner... or ask someone to make it in market place...
they will charge u some Frih$ but itz worth it...
like the collarge of the pics of rani mukherjee will give a great look....
ask "Rajhank" too... he has a good site

most celeb websites must have very good banners. I suggest that you brush up your photoshop skills.

I am running a sania mirza's fan site... www.sanialovers.org

Dont get the time to update it for quite a long time... FOr a fan site I think one needs a cms and you are on the right track using it. But you have to decide which cms you should use.... DO you think wordpress serves your purpose ? If not, search for another....

The look should be fun basically and should not be that that serious.... Stratergy, Just let the people anjoy.... don't add conterversies and all... As this is a male oriented site include pages that you think will be liked by the males... I think you need more links in your navigations bar...

The look is very sporty , the banner is very good , it has everything that a fan will look for.

It has forums, images, videos, contests, polls, wallpapers etc and the main thing is that celeb sites should be updated daily.

You can also include a guestbook, suggestion page and also some videos or trailers from their forthcoming films.

No, scorpio ocalhoun didn't made it for me, Assiez made it for me, and you can check that in my credits page also, and also advertisers page in which i have promised him a free link to his website also.

When running a Celebrity site it is a must that you have a Photo Gallery and that it should be updated all the time. I used to run my own fan site and what made visitors come back my site was for my Photo Gallery and the fact that I would update it whenever there's are new pictures. Smile

You should visit popular Celeb fansites (i.e. Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan fansites) Goodluck!
