Mac Zip Compressor

Hey,

I am transfering files from one computer to the other and am wondering how to compress files into a .zip format..I know how to .rar them but you need another program to unpackage those..

I am on Mac OSX and want to know of some good packaging .zip program to do this.

You may try the GNU gzip. It's free and widely used. If you can't find in a Mac binary format, you can still compile it from source. But I'm sure that there must be a Mac zip (de)compressor out there!

I found another one that all you have to do is drag the file on the image and it compresses it. Works great just it has a auto "Do You Want To Register" thing that pops up every 15 mins that its on..lol, but its cool
