I though it would be interesting to have a thread about the best burgin going on eBay, after I saw the one I have selected. So list what you think is the item going for the madest price.

It is a $50 note (Australian) postage $3.5 and it is selling for $1.26 (right now it might go up)! I wish I had some money in my PayPal account to buy that. The person selling that must be mad, he is going to lose money on that for sure.
I've seen those guitars, there's actually really nice Gibsons, but the shipping is obviously very expensive. They lie!
Now thats a excellent scheme, Sell the item for $0.01 and charge a hell of alot for the shipping. That should grab alot of peoples attention expecially the media.
i forgot to click on the link and now i cant be stuffed so can someone tell me, was it an old $50 note that people might collect or was is just some rich snob trying to burn his money?
It was a note from 2003 (wow that is real old!!!!!!!!!) The number on it was 008008, which is suposed to make is spical. It is still up for sale so why can you see it from that link.
Ok, I can understand people who really live for their hobbies, but to buy a single magic the gathering card for prices like 510 USdollars really scares me!

That is a really good point
$500 !!!!!!
I can understand spending money on things like stamps (I do it all the time) a $5 dollor stamp is like a five dollor note it can be used to pay for something (postage) it has value built into it. But a card? It is not like that. I think that it is just crazy.

Good point if you can find a charity that will use your money and not let it be suck up by other people. I have read many times that only a small amount of the money donated acttuly reaches the people that need it.

Well it might be an excellent scheme but it is against ebay rules and if reported to ebay or ebay officials find out then this seller will have their account cancelled and potentially their PayPal account closed.
A common tatic on eBay to have things in your store at a price were you make an ok amount of money and to attract people to your store you have thing listed the normal way with the links to your store. $165 postage would be about how much it would cost to post something like that you know. I remember my perants buying books from the US and the postage was $160.
Maybe The person selling the $50 note is not as stupid as I though. The bidding on it has gone up to $54 dollors in the past day.
Michael starts looking at the numbers on all his notes to check for anything spical. Any one else with an e-bay account should do the same I think.
holy crap, my brother has that card
Would you mind giveing it to me
