Is it just me...or does this song sound like Dr. Franknfurter (Tim Curry) from the Rocky Horror Picture Show!?

Anywayyy...

Just wanted to know if ya'll know of any other great Vietman era songs. Buffalo Springfeild, CCR, Marvin Gaye....stuff like that.

Love that song. Some other good Vietnam War songs are Fortunate Son, by JC Fogerty, Born in the USA, and Still in Saigon are the few that come to mind (sorry, can't remember artists).

Yes, I do believe. Just pulling a name that I had associated with that song. I believe he did that song once and I just got mixed up Smile

CCR was Fogertys band.


Man, songs from that era encompass almost the entire beginnings of rock and motown. Memories, man. Jeferson Airplane's Volunteers. CCR's Run through the Jungle. Anything by the Stones, but Gimme Shelter comes to mind.
Jimi's Star Spangled Banner. The Doors, Who, Sam the Sham and the Pharoh's Wooley Bully. Respect by Aretha. On and on....
