| In that direction," the Cat said, " lives a Hatter and in that direction lives a March Hare. . . . They're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here." Alice didn't think that proved it at all. |

When you talk, wonder exactly why your talking. Wonder if your really right, and if your position gives you authority to tell others they are wrong. It's easier to understand someone when your mouth isn't open. And when you really understand them, you have no real need force your ideas into their face or expect explanation of theirs.
Anything said has been said by greater people in greater times. If you join the circus of circular argument, and can't remember any other basic reasoning besides the "brand" your putting foward, remember that. Is the time better spent getting red in the face, or keeping your lips closed and your ears opened to hear/avoid the same-old jibber-jabber?
These are just some helpful tips from what I guess to be productive learning amongst a forum of peers. I hope it helps, for it's not entirely perfect, but it's served me quite well.

Just read this post, and I link it because he probably says it better then I can and I don't want people to miss it just because of General's mass thread waterfall.
