Best CPM???

mtorregiani
Hi

What do you think it is the best CPM?

Don't say adsense, I have more than 6000 impresions and I didn't received a single cent. Sad

That is probably your own fault Shocked

Include META tags to make the adsence adverts relevant to your content - also some subjects just wont attract that many clicks!

Try changing the colouring of your adsence adverts to make them more "visible"

You know... I want a CPM, I don't care about the clicks
People just don't click in ads Wink

From my personal experience, they do!

Its your job to make the ads interesting though - otherwise they wont...

Hello LikeakaDanish,

I don't know from where you get that. But I certainly beleive that adsense does not take into account meta tags while generating ads on any page. Hoever, I can be wrong as usual.

Content is very important aswell - but i have experienced a mayor difference when changing the "keywords" meta tag - of course this may be entirely random and meta tags are useless...your guess is as good (or better) than mine Cool

I agree that content is the most important factor. Content is the real king.

Also, it is not a guess anyways, I experimented by putting the different meta tags, different content, different title etc. and reached to the conclusion that meta tags does not play any part in the adsense ads.

If there are certain things you would like adverts about you could also include a paragraph of "ketywords" at the bottom of your page in a colour that blends in with the background - this can also be used to get better search engine ratings, although it is concidered an unprofessional way to get more visitors as people who search on one of your "keywords" will leave your site quickly if your page doesnt actually have any content about this subject.

It can be done even without the colour blending with the background. same text colour as that of the background can also ban you from search engine results. suppose if you have a web hosting site you can state at the bottom - one of the best web hosting providers serving web hosting clients in India, US and Europe managing all of their web hosting needs. while doing this you can also make your main keywords bold or italic.

Search engines are up with the times, i'm affriad, and putting same color text as the background using HTML, CSS, or JavaScript or whatever method will only get you into trouble. One or all of the following will happen

1. they will remove all reference to your site from the engine
2. they will black-list your domain for a long time. no spiders, no robots, no hits
3. they will share the discovery with "business reputation" sites that will give your site a poor consumer rating. Not too bad cause who really checks the reputation sites anyway, but not good either.

It's kind of like the only good thing the BBB does is give good ratings. No one checks to see if a company has a bad rating, but still you might miss out on a couple poeple who see the bad publicity. The real problem comes if a site like Google decides not to give you any hits. No hits = no ad revenue. Try the following instead.

1. Name your files with keywords. Google likes sending people to keyword-rich file names
2. Meta Descriptions for all your pages should reflect your awesome new keyword files names
3. Meta Keywords should also reflect the file name, and don't overload your keywords with every word from the dictionary. Meta keywords that don't appear in the body or header are ignored and count against your likelyhood of being a match for that keyword.
