I like BMW Z3 - Roadster, because that face like shark ! It's cool ...
What's your favourite car from BMW? and why?
I rather prefer this one:
It reminds me of the old muscle cars.

My favourite car is M6 Cabrio. Because I have this car too...
My favorite is probably the 02 M3 Convertible w/ Hard top. It is simply amazing looking, and fairly powerful for the money. Most people would say the 8 series or the m5 or m6 cabrio, but for some reason i like the m3.
...of the recent vehicles they've produced, I'd have to say the Z4 & 5-series,
the Z4 as I love the surfaces, dynamic & bold..playing on line/form & proportion - it was the first BMW for me where the 'new' design direction started to make sense as I was never fond of the 7-series. With the Z4 the details are a little odd in places, but I can forgive that as the rest of the car offered something fresh.
I used to like the older mid 90's 5-series, it was much like a brick - but it caried so much presence, sort of similar to the new Rolls Royces..I didn't know how they could develop it. The new 5-series is a great design in my opinion - it somehow carries the same presence, yet looks sleek, poised...again incorporating many innovative surfacing treatments similar to the Z4, but resolved in a mature, more sophisticated manner. Again the rear details/forms are not as well defined/resolved as the front, but I dont feel it detracts from the design atall. I love it...the new 3-series is less successful in my opinion.

I wouldn't be able to tell you, because BMW, like Mercedes, Infiniti, Lexus, and most other luxury car companies (even Cadillac and Lincoln are doing it now!) simply name their cars after letters and numbers that I would never want to memorize. The names lack personality, and even though I like BMWs (well, the older ones. The new ones look weird), I would never be able to recall the exact name of one that I liked.
Plus the whole line tends to look similar overall, so if you like one from a certain year, chances are you'll like the others from that year as well.
