Uhmm does anyone know another window manager like iDesk? i installed fluxbox in my Slackware 10.2 but my system has some missing dependencies for the iDesk.
And by the way, does anyone know how to remove fluxbox and go to KDE? KDE installed with slackware but i dont know how to run it
update your xorg.conf in your home directory to start kde instead of fluxbox. Check out the ubuntu forums, doesn't matter what distro you have, these forums answer almost all questions.
Hehe that brung me problems with the X system, what i do now is to run the X service via xinit, let fluxbox open and type startkde in a terminal from fluxbox, that runs KDE normally but not the KWIN, the only bad thing is that when i minimize a window, it goes to fluxbox bar and i cannto get it back xD
Do you know a way to initialize the X service without running a window manager? or how to run a 2nd window manager? i tryed startkde -- :1 but it didnt worked.
