TWO adorable ‘loving' puppies were drenched in scalding water then left to DIE while their sick owners listened to their pitiful whimpering.

Six-month-old mongrels Mhia and Cassidy endured FOUR DAYS of cruelty. Mhia's left leg was broken and her flayed skin was so badly infected she lost 15 per cent of it. The RSPCA say her fur will never grow back.

RSPCA officers swooped to end their hell after a tip-off from neighboursin Moston, Manchester and last week JPs found Carolyne Middleton, 23, sister Carla, 18, and Wesley Lloyd Bryan, 23, guilty of neglect. Carolyne was banned from keeping animals for 10 years. Carla was banned for a year.

But Bryan is being hunt-ed by cops after he failed to turn up for sentencing.

RSPCA inspector Catherine Byrnes said: "It was heart-rending to see these two in such pain. It brought tears to the eyes.

"The thing is they're such loving animals. We saved them from a very dark place

I think that nowadays young people are getting more and more brutal. I speculate there are many reasons including too much violence on tv, not enough social contect, lack of parental supervision...etc. I think in the end parents have a big responsibility to educate their children against cruelty against animals.

Kids have nothing else to do these days... horrible, really. We had a dog that ran around our school all the time, and he was a cute little dog but everyone kept kicking it. It's really quite.. evil.

I am guilty of doing many wrong things in my life...but hurt a defenseless animal was never among them.

Those people should be jailed...or scalded with hot water anyway.

How could someone be so evil. To torture any creature (be it human or animal) should be highest of crimes and they should die the same way.
Though ts no surprise that these things happen in a society that needlessly kills animals in so called "animal shelters" and allows the needless killing of animals by hunters who do it solely for sport or pleaser (as apposed to needed hunting which is hunting for the purpose of getting food (though not technically needed but weather you eat a cow or a deer its still requires killing in some way or another))

People have always been this violent, in fact people have been far more violent in the past. Its only now that were talking about it where in the past such acts were not considered news worthy cause "it was just an animal"

A society that believe that humanity is superiors and separate from animals well bread such evil. Only by every one excepting that humans are animals and are not superior but are infarct inferior (see nuclear bombs, genocide, ethnic cleansing, mass murder, serial killers, spree killers and many more) to animals can such evil be eliminated.

You can't get rid of the violence in humanity, that burn into us all, we by our very natures are violent creatures but when we have respect for nature, animals and each other the violence can be minimised and directed to productive things.
