AJAX load ??

I have a very serious doubt ... regarding this ...

Does using AJAX , shift the load of servers onto clients ,,, does using AJAX , load the users client machine Processor ???

If anybody has an answer , please let me know ....

it doesn't loads the users computer processor but it does take offf load from the server - there are less data request and server side calculation to do - they are done at the client side. it's also faster and more responsive to the user.

Since lots of processing is done client side, yes AJAX loads the users client machine...

you guyz know any AJAX ides other than the Google Web Tool kit.
I would also like to know any IDE for Javascript and XML.
