Hey If Ya want a big space web site without add with your own domain name.

You just need to follow these steps. Surprised

1. Find a free web site provider which provide any subdomain like .(www.provider.yousite.com or www.provider.com/ursite)
example brinkster.com(educational pakage) or frihost.com(this one)
register there and get ur space.

2. Now Search for a free web site redirection service. (ie. it will provide you a domain like www.ursite.com and no space and redirect it to your own website.)
like www.uni.cc (recommended) or www.dot.tk
register to get your domain name and redirect it to (step 1)web site you have created.

This way you can enjoy free domain as well as large web space. Twisted Evil

using uni.cc means your still using a subdomain just a shorter one.
Any forwarder is bad in my opinion. All they do is stick your site in a frame and not all browsers (even though 97% do) dont support frames.Also if you want the url of a page no matter the page your on if using .tk you will have the same http://yoursite.tk which is bad.

The best site to choose to follow what has been said above is obviously frihost. No other service is better Wink

If somebody's reading this at FRIHost forums, this probably means that they already know the bit about hosting and domains.
(why else would somebody come here ?)

If you really want a domain (no ads or forced frames) you should use afriad.org.
