Good Reason - Not really!

Do you want to change your web hosting or forum account? Cancel it or change your subdomain? (only if you have a good reason for it)

This is given as a description for the account change forum

I dont think this is ever being followed,

Most, if not all of the sub domain name change requests are like this::

"Could you please change my sub domain from abc.frih.net to xyz.frih.net"

Where the heck is the "good reason"
bondings doesnt seem to mind the lack of reasons

So why bother including that statement there
As if it is going to deter anybody from asking there.

So why not just remove it

Because it take a couple of seconds which Bondings hasn't got Wink

That reason was very informative thank you very much.

Now are there any other people backing up my suggestion seriously?

I think that is misleading in a way

If bondings wants that to be implemented, then the mods must check on everybody's claim or reason which is not too tough(ok I agree they too have exams) but anyway this can be done.

So i suggest
1. it is removed
2. it is moderated better and entries without proper reason be locked

Well, a change in the theme of the web-page is good enough reason to change the subdomain.

Also, I think Bondings generally gets a PM about requested changes or has some other form of communication with the user in question before he actually does make the change. I think we'll wait for him to offer his explanation, but this is what I think happens.

If that is the reason, then I am OK with it because i have not changed my subdomain.

Anyway your reply was atleast informative in the true sense so thank you for clarifying

Waiting for bondings Rolling Eyes
