how do you think the world was created. how was life started? how can we be sure? How do you think the world will end. Will it end? Im curious to see peoples thoughts
the universe
Big bang. Evolution. You get the idea.
If anybody wants to debate about it, I'll be glad to write a dissertation in response.

Life, existance, and the universe all blinked into being when I was born. Anything before that point is nothingness, non-existance.
I am sure of this because I am me, and am everything to myself. When I die the world dies, and does not continue to exist.

1. I guess Big Bang, as this theory has more evidence than any other.
2. There are various hypotheses about the 'protein soup' in the first oceans on the globe. However, we can never be sure when aminoacids and proteins in this 'soup' started building living organisms. I believe that this started with a Divine intervention.
3. So far we cannot. I hope that one day science will go so far that we could.
4. If there's enough matter in the universe, there will be the Big Collapse, the reversed process of Big Bang. If not, it would give off all of its energy and according to one of Einsteins theories, get into the state of absolute entropy. Still only hypotheses.
Why you want think abut wath is after the Dead. you do not have before the birth also about it thought which in to be lived to have
that is states Dalei Lama
that is states Dalei Lama
I slightly believe in the Big Bang, but I think God simply used it to start the universe; I mean, why not?

Brilliant. I had the same idea. But I guess it will change when I have kids.

There's the theory that the unverse will eventually collape in on it's self this is because at the moment the unversive is expanding due to the big bang but there is a small amount of force from gravity drawing it back together. So everything in slowing down eventually it will start to come back together again due to this force of gravity and collage in on it's self.
The world will end when the sun turns into a supanova and sucks it up by then humanity will most likely have found another planet to inhabit if we haven't died of another cause. athough it's imposible to travel faster than the spead of light so i way to freeze or suspend people would have to be made. Or maybe a ship with enough water and a way of creating enough food to sustain a few generations of people untill they get to the planet as our nearest star is a few thousand light years away the planet just needs to be inhabitable and plants and such would be taken statistly there are about 8000 planet that can sustain life in our galaxy. well thats my science fictiony rant done.
But if that happens, it will be trillions of years from now and by then all the stars would have used up there fuel and died.
But, I saw a show om PBS, talking about that, theres scientists wonted to see if the universe would expand forever or collapse. They looked at distant galaxy's and closer galaxy's and measured the dopler effect to see how fast they were slowing down, they found out that the universe is not only not slowing down, but speeding up. So the universe is not only expanding but that expansion is accelerating.

all i know is we are on a giant rock floating through space. we won't know how the universe was made..

the universe? our " universe" may be in a cycle. according to scientists, it was created in a big bang. The big bang was the first event and thus marked the beginning of time. As the others here said, it expands, even accelerating. So the universe may expand unto nothingness since by then the average matter per unit space is practically zero. But according to them, on another view (higher than the 4-d that we know, 3-d space with time) another universe interacts with our universe to create another bang. Thus a cycle.
but life, now thats something we may have ideas of its beginning. they say that by inanimate molecules formed sequences that have analogs of amino acids or they may be the amino acids themselves. the sequences forming proteins and then... life! the sequences being replicated by compounds that can pair with the proteins and thus more life was born! chaos creating variety of organisms some of which are stronger and thus better life was born! well u get the idea...
I like a lot thinking about the ubniverse and stuff. I think we have no concience and it is all just a interconnection of neurons what makes it all.
I don't belive in god so I don't belive i what is right and what is wrong too. And the universe is so interesting. I like a lot watching Carl Sagan show, is realy interesting, you should watch it!

This is Brilliant.
Why does it truly matter how the universe was created. What matters is that it was created and it exists.
Now the thing that may kick your but is, what if our "universe" is contrived of someones imagination and is a mental experiment?
There are many "possible" explinations for the creation of the universe.
yes that may be true!. and the universe may not have been created in the first place, it may have just simply existed. and it may not have and end anyway. since we relate the universe to ourselves, we tend to think bout creation and stuff.
man and the universe...
man and the universe...
I dont buy the we are not meant to know argument, I think we are here to evolve and improve, thats what life does, well unless it finds its niche and stops evolving, but hopefully we havent stopped yet, our technology certainly hasnt, and maybe its all like a fractal the more you learn the more there is to find out, its infinite, the whole universe just one small part of something else which is pin prick of something else, if you eventually saw and understood the whole picture, what point in being alive would there be, its what drives us.

And why to not think that beautifull fairy with 4 angels started the universe, or some dwarfs, or maybe a big red dragon?
And about facts i recently has to make a presentation about an science article and i chose that. I dont wanna copy that text so you can read. It proves some things nad is quite interesting:

It's written pretty plainly for the world in Genesis.
I have agree with Soulfire, for a person with faith and belief there is no other explaination.
Call me ignorant if you will....but what works for me in my life, doesn't have to work for anyone else...it need only work for me.

But you and no other Christan has faith. You all have something to point to that proves you beliefs to you and thats not faith. Faith is baseless, faith is believing something with out evidence. All Christan's have some perceived "evidence" that provides there beliefs to them.

You don't know a thing about me or my belief structure....so leave me out of your irrelevant flames please.

You know nothing about faith because you lack it. So please stop and rethink before you tell me what I am. There's evidence of God, you just choose to ignore it. But then again, I could sit here and type the evidence and God could appear before you, slap you upside the face, and then disappear. It wouldn't matter, because you've already made up your mind.
You are in no position to tell me what my faith is.
Faith means to believe something regardless of evidence. And the very fact that you mention "evidence of god" proves it for if you had faith you would have said "I believe in God cause I know in my hart that he is real and don't need any evidence for it to know its true"
You all hove something that proves your beliefs to you and thus you have no faith.
Oh and name one with out referring to anything easily explainable nor any hole in our currant knowledge.
Vrythramax: nothing I said was a flame.

What about people who have faith that God doesn't exist?
I'm sure very few atheists scour the Bible for passages disproving His existence in much the same manner that most Christians don't consult their college-level physics books to prove he does.
There's not only one universe. I think there are millions of universes, thtaly different than ours, but there are some similar. Our universe is is very young comparing to others
