I hope that his wife believes that he is fathfull to her, If she dosn't believe him after he did that then she is not worth being with, heck I wouldn't even go as far as doing that to myself. Well... it happens. I recently read an article about a man running from the police. He severed his penis and threw it at the officers, who stood there dumbfounded. The convict managed to elude police for several hours before being caught in a nearby wooded area. The poor man almost bleed to death.
And tasteless jokes ensue.

Ouch is right. D&*mn I can't imagine proving any kind of point by doing something that retarded. I'd say the only intelligent response for the wife after something like that would be to take the kids and leave quickly the guy's dangerous. That said she's probably obliged to stay with him out of sympathy at least until she starts cheating because he can't perform anymore.
WELL, he was taken to a hospital and that is the right place to be (I mean mental hosital). DO NOT CUT anything what is dear to you and by all means dear to your wife. If they don't fix him, Iwon't be surprice if she damps him.

Yes, however most christians interpret that verse figuratively. Anywho ... that doesn't prove anything. "But I say to you that every one who looks at woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart" Matthew 5:28.
However, that does nothing to prove past fidelity, and does not absolutely rule out future infideility.I hope the poor guy gets some form of psychiatric help when he's physicaly recovered. Any one who could do that to themselves, no matter what the reason has major problems.
