Is there a way to hide your username in a post...?

Is there a way to hide your username in a post or make it visible internally only and not visible to outside people? For example if I make a post and my friends see it, they will laugh at me... (Just for example) Not that they would or anything... But just a question.

If your really sensitive about that kind of thing post as a guest. I beleive on Php only admins (and moderators? I'm not sure) can see IP's and what other usernames they have posted under. Just log out to make that post then log in again.

Is this regarding configuring your own server or the options available here on Frihost's forum?

If the latter, no there isn't. You ought to register with a username you are not personally connected with. You are however able to login anomanously meaning you do not shown on the online list.
