I have two suggestions, or request:
- Fix the View Latest Post
link. Its jobs is to go to the last post of the Thread when clicked, currently it goes to the beginning of the thread. It'll be of a great benefit to be if it was to go to the last post. The problem only occurs when you Search New Posts - if there is more than one page then it'll go to the last page but not to the last post. It also occurs on the left hand side when you view a forums threads. The button on the right hand side works fine as well as on the index page 
- Move one of the banner ads from view_topic.tpl and place it in the footer of the forum, just because I think it'll look more presentable.

This thread was for Bondings as I haven't had a chance to speak to him the last coule of days I like how the ads work. And i dont' have a problem with that either. It must be your browser. What browser are you using?

About the second suggestion:
A banner on the top = more user clicks.
Less amount of users are actually going all the way down to the footer.
Anyway, if Steve moves that banner to the button, he'll get less $cha-$ching.
Yea i agree with helios. A banner on the bottam wouldn't get as much clicks. Sort of how the ones that used to be in one of the topics got taken down.

I think it would be better to put the banner once again between 2 posts further down the page instead of between the 1st and 2nd post
At the bottom it would be a great idea indeed!

There are two links to "view newest post" on an unread thread.
One of these uses the postid value for anchoring - this works.
One uses "#newest" anchor - doesn't work.
