Gateway Career Option - Year 12/Form 6
Howdy-doodle!
I am currently in my eleventh year of school (Year 11), and am already thinking of my future careers, one that I have wanted to do for about a year now. This job is a radio broadcaster!
Now, the title of this topic "gateway" expresses the idea of a subject option that I can take next year (Year 12), this is where I go out to the chosen work force for one day a week during school terms. I have studied the booklet about this, and have found one for radio broadcasting.
Life FM :)
Conditions:
Keep grades up - Dean checks
Be good this year
Have absolute interest
Meet the work force requirements (Maybe being able to look tidy)
Bad parts:
Its in the city - About a 30 min bike ride, or 1-2hr in a car - Traffic
No pay - School gets the cash
Less education elsewhere
Goodies:
Broadcasting experience
See what its like
So should I sign up? Registrations close at the end of next month, so I have a while. This will start next year, and I must stick with the job until I either get fired, or grades go down.
