120 arrests from both sides of the argument following violence in the Russian capital. What are your views on the rights of gay people to express themselves? More importantly do you think the violence against them is acceptable?
While I think that perhaps the protest organisers should have foreseen this I find it the blatant thuggery against the protest appalling. Even if I agreed that homosexuality was wrong, I cannot understand why people would condone this kind of violence.
Surely physical violence and showing you are a violent thug is much, much worse than announcing yourself as gay? Opinions?
