This year the championship looks more interesting, even with Renault being a step beyond their competitors. I think that if McLaren can make the right changes and some other teams make a better job it can be a very interesting year.

I like Renault as a team, but it is not interesting when one single team wins it all (Remember Ferrari couple of years ago).

Oke Renault will win this one, I think. They have still the best package.
The problem of Mclaren is they don't know where the problem is so they can't fix it. Anyway Ferrari will be a strong contender altough I don't think Massa is good enough now.

As much as I hate Alonzo, he is amazing every race, I love Michael Shumacher, but it seems like Alonzo is continually blowing him and the rest of the field out every race......

I aggree. What would be really interesting is if Michael Schumacher and Kimi, Alonso, Monty and the rest were to race in A1 cars (which are all the same speed), and then we would really know for sure who is the best.

At the moment I feel that the car plays too much of a part in the race, and in previous years the tyres made way too much difference. Level the playing field I say!

What about the MSC controversy then?
THough he's my favourite driver right now, I wouldn't put it past him to just put in a liiiiiiitle less effort than he could have to have negotiated that turn. I doubt he did it all on purpose. I think, rather, that he did in fact make a mistake wheil enetering the corner, but probably didn't put in 100% effort to rectify it, and as a result, just 'parked' it.

I have supported only 2 drivers for the last 3 years, One is Alonso and other is Raikkonen,

I never do support Schumacher(though i love ferrari cars) but anyway i seem to have an aversion to "red" colored teams(man U)

i think that ferrari will win at least the constructors championship. but i think this is last year for michael schuhmacher in the ferrari team. he is too old.

I like very much Mclaren Mercedes(so Kimi Raikonen) but I guess Renault will win it.But It can be anybody except Schumacher(I never support him)...So the new car of Mclaren is great but as a team Renault will win it...

as much as i would like to Mclaren take the championship, i think renault is going to run away with it. The difference between the two drivers in each team is similar in Mclaren and Renault. Ferarri is completely different. Massa is way slower and too volatile, so he might end up causing them the championship. Fisi is way too unlucky and inconsistent so he might compromise renault - but not lose them the championship, unless if it came down to the wire. Mclaren doesn't have much of a chance because Kiimi has horrible luck and montoya is also inconsistent. That leaves renault and mr perfect (alonso) to get everything.

as for what happened in monaco, I think schumi should be hung up-side-down!! It's typical schumi: win at all costs. but he would never admit he did anything wrong. What goes around comes around, maybe next time massa will rear-end him on the formation lap!! he's not my favourite driver so I really couldn't care less what happens to him.

I hope mclaren performs well in front of their home crowd. And williams too. They really deserve it especially after webber was having such great race in monaco.

Renault is by far the best team, what a good car, it looks like the in the old Ferrari days ( a couple of years ago). No one can beat them, Alonso will win the championship again.

Ferrari has proven that they are better then Mclaren today. It will be very difficult for Mclaren to win again a GP. They are reliable now but not as fast as Renault. Work to do for Mclaren and Ferrari.

The Race in Silverstone was again boring as usual. Can the Formula 1 be more boring?

If one were to shoot Alonso or break his leg or something, then F1 would become interesting again.... (j/k) Razz

But seriously, F1 is becoming monotonous with Alonso winning everything, but my prediction is that next year, we'll have a new champion (not Alonso), but most likely Schumacher. Alonso's shifting to McLaren, who have been plagued by either engine problems or reliability concerns for the last 2 years. They'd HAVE to pull a big one out of their magic bag to come up with a very competitive car in league with Alonso's Renault. Secondly, I have a feeling that Kimi will move to Ferrari. If this happens, either he'll take a few races to get used to the new setting, or he's going to challenge for race wins (provided Ferrari keep their current rate of development constant, or better, and provide a car that can match Renault). Even if Kimi is with McLaren, that still means he may not have an excellent car (unless, like I said, McLaren pull out a big one from their bag). Schumacher, on the other hand, is hungry for another championship, and I doubt highly if he will retire. If he stays, he remain's Ferrari's first-love and will get the best from the team. If the team carries out good development, his relationship with the team will help to optimize his performance. As we have seen Fisichella is not quite as effective in his Renault as Michael is in his Ferrari. I'd predict the same trend for next year... The Ferrari (at least of Schumacher) will be faster than the Renaults (without Alonso).

BTW, it will be particularly interesting to see how things go at Ferrari if Kimi moves to Scuderia next season.... hmm...

Indeed. I can't wait to see Kimi in a Ferrari Very Happy . With Scumacher also in the Ferrari would be very interessting.
We r the SYC
