I am having a strange problem with Half Life 2. Whenever I begin a new game, everything works fine, but when I load a game the models don't seem to move at all. They just stand still and don't move a muscle. It only happens when i load a game. Please help.
My config: 1 GB DDR2 RAM, GeForce 6600 256mb PCI-E, P4 3.06 GHz, Windows XP MCE.
That sounds really messed. Have you tried the half life forums to see if anyone else is having that problem? Or tried reinstalling the game?
I solved the problem. Here is the solution incase somebody else also has this problem:
1. While playing hit the '`' key (to the left of the '1' key) to bring up the console.
2. In the console type 'sv_cheats 1'. Hit Enter.
3. Now type 'ai_disable 0'. Again hit Enter.
The problem should be solved.
Hey roahn meet me up and give that game to me. I too wanna play hl2. Anyways that model not moving, it is a cheat to complete the game easily. If this cheat is enabled no one will move. They will stad idel doing nothing. Saw this on Gamemax.
