How to get perfekt TV-OUT (Only Radeon)

This is quite old but for those who havn't seen it yet... Read!!

It's a guide how to solder a VGA to RGB scart and I can only say, Wow! ...and throw away your s-video cable! The picture will be perfekt, get higer contrast, you can read the text in windows, the color will be richer...

Of course there are some disadvantage like
-You must be able to solder, quite easy
-You need to have a Radeon-card with VGA
-If you have 50Hz tv you will get flicker (can't tell if your watching a movie!)

I really must recomend this because the pros takes over the cons, Big time!

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The TV you have MUST have a SCART input. Here in the USA, I have never seen one on a TV.

Why do this, when you can use S-Video? It says the contrast is greater and you can read text. But, with a half-decent TV, you should be able to do this anyways...

i've seen some older(ish) RCA tv's in the US that have had SCART inputs...

Yeah, we have 3x RCA, which sucks...

S-Video depends on the standard also. US encodes in NTSC, I think everyone over in Europe uses PAL. That may make a difference in why I can clearly view S-Vid with no problems...

Some of the larger Projection tvs had them. I don't think they do anymore. I don't know it been away seens I have seen one of these.
