I couldn't agree with you more. Web2FTP is simply superb, I have also been using them for a long time. There are other Web FTP sites but not as good as web2ftp.com. In my opinion its better than any FTP software. You can edit, delete, move, rename, CHMOD and upload files as well as make new directories, upload .*.zip, *.tar, *.tar.gz, *.tgz compressed files. They will automcatically decompress themselves. The compressed files will also be in the correct format, whether it be ASCII or Binary. The files upload will automatically be set to a CHMOD that suits them best. For example, php files will be set to 644. You cal sort the files/folders out by name | type | size which makes life even more easy.
Plus a couple of other cool features - I recommend you use it.
