Now that the weather is clearing up and getting hot here in Southern Ontario, Canada, I was hoping to buy a scooter this summer, since I cannot afford a car right now. However, Ontario created a law at the end of 2005 requiring everyone who drives a scooter, or even a MOPED to have a motocycle license!
That one killed it for me, because I cannot get a license or pay for insurance right now. Boo!

Southern Ontario, eh? Well, I live in Hamilton and just wated to say hi. As for myself, I got my M1/M2 about 2 years ago. The M1 license had to be the best $10 I ever spent. That's awesome how it's so cheap. Too bad the M2 school/exit test cost me an arm and a leg for the weeknd schooling.
Well worth it, even though I sold my Ninja last year and bougt a car.
Not a fan of scooters, or mopeds, as they just don't match the feel of a sport bike.

I use my scooter, as soon as I get a pic I will pos it, I love the $3.00 a week better than the 30.00 a week fuel bill. Here in las Vegas as long as you ride the 49cc , no lic. reg. I still have insurance, but the cost is low. My scooter is a 110 custom, but it is set up and looks like a 49cc. soooo, I kinda cheat on that front, but hey the state does not know what to do with the money they get as it is LOL.
But all in all I like my scooter, if I need a car for a date I rent for the day. Cheap here in Las Vegas.

Im trying to sell my gas scooter. Its a 41 cc i think. HAs over a foot of ground clearance, big shocks off road tires, and it flies. It goes about 25 mph. Has a seat and a big gas tank. I only used for half of one summer, prolly has around 15 hours on it.
