Anyone know the pro's and con's to having this OS? Is it good? If anyone has any info? I know it's not even released yet but I'm wondering if I bother waiting till it comes out to get a PC with it?

There's a lot of information there. Wikipedia would be the first step if I ever need to find general information on a particular subject. It's a good asset to know, and better to use than google at times.

I hear it aint good at all. Microsoft is going the wrong way. People nowadays want less memory the OS takes, and more memory they can use themselves. Apparently Microsoft does exactly the opposite :/

mmmmmmmmmm........... I do not think that is the case. With the pc hardware prices going down, what people want now is performance. Thats why Vista is here. Those who do not have much memory or ram should stick with XP or their comp will be too slow with vista on it.
