Does anybody know Pinnacle Studio 10?
It's a program for making films, and it's features are quite positive.
The problem is that it goes always down: It cannot use the features like video effects on a film!!! Recently I noticed that you first have to save a movie as MPG, then reimport and then work on the video!

If you are using a trial version of Pinnacle, they might have certain restrictions on how and what stuff it handles. There are other good programs out there, many with fully functioning trial versions. (They will shutdown after 30 days)

What format is your source material? DV, MPEG 2, HDV?
What features are you looking for?
What is your output going to be? DV, MPEG 2, uncompressed ?

PS is just a rather buggy program...my brother who does some amature video making used it for a couple of years, but has moved to adobe premier now because PS constantly crashes. And yes...he has the full version.
